Papers of the Greenleaf family of Quincy, Mass. and members of the related Wroe family. The collection primarily consists of family correspondence among Thomas, Daniel, and Ezekiel Price Greenleaf, William G. Appleton and his wife Elizabeth (Greenleaf) Appleton, and Ezekiel Price. Also, papers related to Daniel Greenleaf's purchase of a painting of George Washington from the estate of John Adams and an inventory of the Adams estate; manuscript poetry; and a manuscript copy of the constitution of the Society of the Cincinnati.
